Q: What do you get inside this advent calendar? A: Behind each of the 24 doors, you'll find a new part to build your own remote control Rock Crawler. The build is spread across the month, and by Christmas Eve, you'll have a complete, fully-functioning RC truck. Q: What is the recommended age for this advent calendar? A: This advent calendar is recommended for ages 10 and up. It contains small parts that are required for the build, so it is not suitable for younger children. Q: Does the RC car come with batteries? A: Yes, all the batteries you need are included. The box contains four AA batteries for the Rock Crawler and three AA batteries for the remote control, so it's ready to go once built. Q: How complicated is the build? Will I need any special tools? A: The build is designed to be a fun daily project, with one new part or section to assemble each day. No special tools are required, as all the pieces are made to fit together to create the final model. Q: What is the finished RC truck like? A: Once completed, you'll have a 1:18 scale Rock Crawler. It's a proper off-road vehicle with 4-wheel drive, oversized tyres, and shock absorption, designed for tackling indoor obstacle courses. Q: What does a "2.4 GHz remote" mean? A: This refers to the radio frequency the remote uses to communicate with the car. It provides a strong, reliable connection and helps prevent interference from other remote control toys, so you can race multiple cars at once. Q: Can the calendar be reused next year? A: The advent calendar itself has perforated cardboard doors designed to be opened once. However, the remote control Rock Crawler you build is a durable toy that can be played with long after the Christmas countdown is over.
